Sharon has taught a number of literature and writing courses at The Settlement, The Rothsay Education Centre, at Cambridge’s Institute of Continuing Education and elsewhere.
Her background is in Eighteenth-Century British literature and she has presented numerous papers on Boswell and Johnson at literary conferences. Her discussion-based courses in American and English literature range from biography, nature writing and prize-winning novels to classic and modern fairy tales. Contemporary women’s writing is one of Sharon’s special interests.
