Sensational shirring skills
Sat 28 Jun 2025, 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Fun times for sewists and their sewing machine at any level. Complete beginners or long time stitchers … everyone is welcome to spend a Saturday morning with us, sewing and eating cake.
We will be offering a number of Pick and Mix workshops over the Summer.
A workshop with the aim of understanding how and where to use this decorative and functional process; how to set up your machine; how to finish raw edges.
Shirring is currently used a lot on cuffs, yokes and waists and great fun to do.

I’ve been a keen crafter from as long as I can remember but I’ve always enjoyed trying something new and a bit different. Appliqué is a great way to use up scraps and have fun with fabric.
