Mini Marine Textile Workshop

Following on from our popular ‘Coral Reef’ Textile Course, ‘Mini Marine’ is a one day workshop for beginners. Using a variety of fabrics, threads, stitches and beads, you will learn the techniques to create your own beautiful marine inspired piece of textile art.

Name: Nade Simmons
Bio: Nade is an award winning contemporary textile artist who holds a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Arts. In 2020 Nade won a bursary with The School of Stitched Textiles studying Hand Embroidery and was accepted into the prestigious Society for Embroidered Work. Her work has been featured by Mr X Stitch, Hand & Lock and toured the UK with Madeira Threads. She is also a current Fellow at Digswell Arts Trust, is the chairman and artist of the Wynd Gallery and an exhibiting member of the Eastern Region Textiles Forum
