Five Physical Phenomena

Galileo was one of the first scientists to write books promoting the public understanding of the physical world. Newton built on those foundations to reveal first a planet, then a Cosmos ruled by physical laws. Clerk Maxwell and Einstein were the other two acknowledged geniuses who completed Classical Physics. This course aims to make their discoveries accessible to those without a scientific background.

Name: Tim Parrott
Bio: Tim Parrott took his degree at Cambridge then worked as a schoolteacher before specialising in explaining Popular Science to general audiences. In addition to Cosmology, Physics and Evolutionary Biology, he also teaches courses on architectural structure, always with a view to developing the knowledge and understanding of people without a background in Science who nonetheless want to know more.
