Crochet for Beginners – Colourful Granny Squares

In this workshop you will learn how to crochet a colourful granny square using a selection of yarns.
To create each granny square you will learn how to crochet:
· Magic ring
· Treble crochet stitch
· Chain stitch
· Slip stitch
· How to change colour
· How to join your squares
I will show you different projects you can complete with your squares including purses, book covers, garments, homeware accessories.

Customer Information: All Materials Provided, you will be able to choose from a wide selection of colours. You will be able to take home a small amount of yarn to complete a few granny squares.

Name: Amanda Brown
Bio: Amanda Jane has been a passionate crafter since childhood. Her love of crochet started as a teenager when she crocheted a tennis dress as her first project! She knits and sews for her family and enjoys creating clothes, accessories and interior pieces. She recently attended a year-long traditional crafts course at Oaklands College studying dyeing, batik, felting, pottery, printing and book making.
