Chinese Intermediate

This course is for those who have a good basic knowledge of spoken Mandarin and Chinese characters.
We will be following a textbook and lots of videos for conversation and vocabulary building.
We will also be having fun practising more Chinese characters (excellent for mindfulness), reading simple Chinese books and news headlines, and following the current affairs and cultures in in the Chinese-speaking world.

Name: Helena Hon
Bio: Helena previously taught art and English in both primary and secondary schools in Hong Kong following her teacher training. Helena loves languages; she speaks English, Cantonese and Mandarin, has recently started to learn French, and has a degree in Japanese and Law from SOAS, University of London. She has over 10 years’ experience teaching both Cantonese and Mandarin in British private schools and weekend Chinese community schools, and she loves all things Japanese.
