A Journey through the most Beautiful Places in the Middle East

On this journey with Wafà, we will discover 25 of the most beautiful places of the Middle
East. We will visit lush oases, endless deserts and UNESCO World Heritage sites from the
Valley of the Kings, to Wadi Rum and Petra, to the Island of Qeshm, the largest in the Persian Gulf. We will discover the Masada National Park overlooking the Dead Sea and the Judean desert then sail to Oman’s Musandam Fjords. We will end our journey in Yemen’s Socotra islands, famous for their dragon trees, then land in the Roman city of Baalbek with its temple of Bacchus larger than the Parthenon.

Name: Wafa Tarnowska
Bio: Wafà was born and educated in Lebanon, but has worked and lived in Australia, India, Poland, Cyprus, the UAE, and the UK. In addition to being a French, Arabic and English as a Second Language teacher, Wafà is a writer, translator, and storyteller. She has written seven children’s books and has translated children’s stories from English into Arabic in addition to TV documentaries from Arabic to English.
