A Hard Day’s Night

Sun 8 Dec 2024, 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Hard Days Night
Sunday 8 Dec, 2024 4:00pm - 6:00pm

Come and relive all the fun, excitement, and chaos of Beatlemania at our special 60th anniversary screening of A Hard Day’s Night. Packed with classic Beatles songs written and recorded at lightning speed, this modestly made, relatively low budget pop flick captured a real sense of a cultural moment unfolding. Six decades on, it remains every bit as sharp, funny, and fetchingly insolent as it did on its first release.

Introductory talk: Prior to the screening, hear all about how the film came to be made and the impact it had from our resident Settlement pop culture specialists, Christopher Budd and Stephen Barnard. £10 online / on the door, or FREE for attendees of The Beertles’ concerts at the Settlement on 7th December.
