Nick Skinner, Manager

Settlement Manager

Nick joined us as the Settlement Manager in February 2022.  Previously he worked as a secondary school music teacher (including 8 years as Director of Music locally at St. Christopher School); Head of Performing Arts at the London Borough of Hackney’s Education Authority; Head of the Enfield Music Service for the London Borough of Enfield; and most recently as Director of Arts & Community at Richmond and Hillcroft Adult Community College.

Nick has always believed in the power of creativity, design and development, and the sharing of ideas and artistic expression.  Since his appointment, his objectives have been to understand the Settlement’s special blend of education, culture and community, and to introduce new courses and initiatives to take the Settlement forward and secure its future.
