Vanessa was born in England and went to Art College where she obtained a degree in Fine Art. She moved to the U.S. in the mid-70s and to Miami in 1996 joining an artists community as a studio artist at ArtSouth in 2003.
Vanessa has exhibited throughout the southern United States, including solo shows in the Capitol Bldg., in Tallahassee, Florida, and Biscayne National Park. In November 2010 she returned to England permanently in order to be closer to her family.
She is a member of the Wynd Gallery in Letchworth and has exhibited in the UK at Mill Green Museum, The Brunel Museum in London and Moorfields Eye Hospital. Her work is both in water colour, oil, pastel, lino cut, and batik.
