Invisible Zip Skills
Sat 5 Jul 2025, 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Fun times for sewists and their sewing machine at any level. Complete beginners or long time stitchers … everyone is welcome to spend a Saturday morning with us, sewing and eating cake.
We will be offering a number of Pick and Mix workshops over the Summer.
A workshop with the aim of overcoming the fear of sewing zips into your projects.
You’ll learn to understand the simple steps to setting a zip into a seam and to finishing off with a hook and eye for the neatest finish.
We will be using “invisible” zips for this project (provided). You may need to purchase an invisible zip foot for your machine. We will have a couple for borrowing in the class.

I’ve been a keen crafter from as long as I can remember but I’ve always enjoyed trying something new and a bit different. Appliqué is a great way to use up scraps and have fun with fabric.
